This pie recipe is such an easy and delicious pie to make. It is a favorite for family gatherings, work functions or any gathering you are having. You can use a refrigerated pie crust, frozen pie crust or a homemade pie crust to make this pie. You will need the following ingredients:

Recipe:
1 pie crust ( my pie crust recipe is linked below)
1 cup of milk chocolate chips
1 stick of butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of pecans or walnuts, optional
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the eggs to a medium bowl and whisk them first before adding the other ingredients. Melt the butter.

Add the flour, sugar, chocolate chips, vanilla and melted butter.

Mix all the ingredients with a whisk until they are well blended.

Pour into the unbaked pie crust and bake for 45 – 55 minutes or until the toothpick in the center comes out clean.

Let the pie cool for a few minutes.

Serve the pie warm. Enjoy!
Note: You can use semi sweet or dark chocolate chips if that is what you prefer. You can add coconut, walnuts or pecans but if you choose to just use the chocolate chips you do not have to add additional chocolate chips.
We like to serve this pie warm or add some vanilla ice cream on the side. It will store in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days or you can freeze it and heat it up when you serve it.
