Nothing like some homemade baked beans when you are having country style boneless pork ribs. They are truly so easy to make and to my family homemade is almost always better than store bought. You will need the following ingredients to make these:

Recipe:
15 oz can of pork and beans
2 tablespoons of finely diced onion
1 tablespoon of finely diced bell pepper
1 tablespoon of ketchup
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of butter
3 pieces of bacon cut in half
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In an oven safe skillet (I like to use cast iron) melt the butter on medium heat and add the onion and bell pepper and cook until soft. This should take about 3 minutes. Then, add the beans, ketchup, brown sugar, salt and pepper and mix well.
Cut the bacon in half and lay over the beans and bake for 25 minutes. Enjoy!

I turn the broiler on and brown the bacon a little bit after cooking, then I cut it up into smaller pieces and place it on the top of the beans.

Note: You don’t have to precook the onions and bell peppers but I find that it just adds a little extra flavor to the baked beans and if you are not a bacon lover, you can certainly leave it out or just use bacon crumbles for an easier recipe.
We enjoy these baked beans served with bbq meats, hamburgers, and even hotdogs. Whether they are served at family, church or work gatherings these baked beans are always a favorite.
