I love making this pepper steak salad fresh from the grill. It is such a quick, simple and refreshing salad to make. You will need the following ingredients:

Recipe:
1 – 2 pounds of sirloin steaks
Make a pepper spice blend by using the following:
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of lemon pepper
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (add more if you like it spicier)
1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon of chili pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1 package of fresh baby greens
2 tomatoes
2 cucumbers
1/4 of an onion, sliced thinly
1 cup of shredded colby jack cheese
1 cup of croutons
dressing of your choice
Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
Mix the black pepper, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper, chili pepper, smoked paprika and salt together in a small bowl and season both sides of the steaks.
Place the steak on the grill and cook them to the doneness you prefer. I cooked mine well done because that is what my family enjoys.
Wash the salad greens, cucumbers and tomatoes. Slice the cucumbers and dice the tomatoes and then add the lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and the sliced onions on a large serving dish, or make individual salads for each person, which is what I did.
Remove the steak from the grill and let it sit for 5 minutes. Slice the steak into thin strips and add it to the salad. Tip: If the steak is too hot it will wilt the salad greens.
Add the cheese, croutons and the salad dressing. Enjoy!
