This is a guacamole recipe that my family loves. It is so easy and fast to make. I know it is not the standard way a lot of cooks prepare guacamole but adding the sour cream just makes it creamy and delicious. We serve this on the side of tacos, burritos, taco salads and even just your standard way with tortilla chips. It is such a great addition to many meals. To prepare this you will need the following ingredients:

1 ripe avocado, mashed
1 teaspoon of sweet onion, diced
1 teaspoon of cilantro, chopped finely
1/2 lime, juiced
1 tablespoon of sour cream
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 small tomato, diced (optional)
Mix together all the ingredients making it as smooth or chunky as you like. Enjoy!

This is a recipe that my family requests when we have tacos, wraps or sometimes even on a grilled chicken sandwich. Sometimes I take chicken breasts and grill them or just saute them in a skillet and then I add some shredded colby jack or cheddar cheese on it and then I place it on a toasted bun and add lettuce, tomato, and red onion and use this guacamole as a spread on the sandwich bun. No matter which way this is served it is always enjoyed.
Note: This recipe is best served right away as it does not store well in the fridge. I have tried many ways to store this guacamole but I have never had much luck, so as fast and easy as it is to make, I just make it fresh.
