Copycat Longhorn Prairie Steakhouse Seasoning

Longhorn’s Prairie Steakhouse Seasoning is one of my favorite seasonings to use. It is so easy to make, and it seasons everything wonderfully. It is great added to chicken, steak, fish and potatoes. Whatever I put this on, it compliments it. You only need a few ingredients to make it and most of them you may already have in your pantry. The recipe is as follows:

1 1/2 teaspoons of salt

1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of paprika

1/4 teaspoon of onion powder

Pinch of cayenne pepper (or as much spice as you like)

1/8 teaspoon of ground coriander

Mix together and sprinkle on your foods just like you would add seasoning using salt and pepper. I store this spice blend in an airtight container and it will last several months but, if you use it like I do you will run out long before it goes bad.

This spice blend is one that I enjoy using to season alot of the foods that I cook. The positive side to making your own spice blends is it doesn’t have all the added preseratives and other ingredients. It is just a good all around spice blend that you can make and adjust to your liking and use as a great seasoning for your foods.

Note: You can double this recipe, as I often do, and use it on almost any variety of food that I enjoy cooking.

Just sprinkle on your food and enjoy!
