Does anyone remember the wonderful coleslaw that Chick-Fil-A used to serve? It was removed from their menu and the recipe was released to the public since they will never serve it again at their restaurants. I have made this numerous times, and it is so easy and delicious to make. You will need the following:

4 teaspoons of white vinegar
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 teaspoons of dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of mayonnaise
20 oz bag of fine shredded cabbage, chopped really small (1/8 of and inch)
1/4 cup of finely chopped carrots

Whisk the vinegar, sugar, mustard, and salt together until the sugar is dissolved. Add mayonnaise and whisk together. Add the cabbage and carrots and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve.
I had never heard of adding dry mustard to coleslaw before but I have to say it is very good. Of course I shred up my cabbage myself as I dont really care for the taste of the packaged mix you get in the store. I figured that if I am going to have to chop the cabbage up small I might as well chop it fresh.

This coleslaw is great served with a meal of chicken, pork chops or just by itself. I have made a meal using just vegetables like green beans, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese and this coleslaw so, if you enjoy meals with just vegetables give this a try.
