This is a potato recipe I came up with several years ago and it is one of my favorite ways to cook and eat potatoes. The potatoes get a crispy outside and a tender inside. It’s hard to explain except they are delicious. You will need the following ingredients:

Cut the butter into small pieces and add pats of butter to each potato half.
Tear the aluminum foil so that each potato can be wrapped individually.

Place the potatoes cut side down with the butter underneath it and wrap tightly in the foil.

Place the wrapped potatoes on a sheet pan cut side down and bake until tender. This will take around 25 -30 minutes. Bake the potatoes until they are soft when you squeeze the sides using a kitchen towel. Be careful not to burn yourself. Cook time may need adjusted according to how large or small the potatoes are. Enjoy!

Note: You can cook as many of these potatoes as you wish and you can cook them on a grill or over a campfire.
These potatoes are a wonderful addition to just about any meal you are having as they go with so many things. We have them with chicken, steaks, hamburgers and even fish.
